Low Coolant Probe

The sensor was dispatched very promptly. arrived in good order (Thanks' for the lollies) Fitted and is working as expected. I struggled to fine=d this as it was from a Coolant level sensor I fitted about 20 years ago and I used a sensor from a Ford but did not know which one. Thanks you're a lifesaver.

This Low Coolant Probe now protects the engine of my 1984 Nissan Urvan. When the coolant level is correct the circuit closes and brings on an LED light on the dash. When the water is low the probe is open circuit. causing the light to go off, alerting me before the engine overheats. The only equivalent probe I have been able to find is from the USA at a cost of almost AUD$100.

I use these probes in my vehicles with retrofitted coolant level kits. Far superior to the grommeted ones in the kits.All vehicles should have this combination. Better than dry heat gauge (engine guard, etc)
